From 14 to 16 May 2025, Terradeca proudly took part in Flower Inspiration Day Malaysia, held in the cool, picturesque highlands of Cameron Highlands. Organized annually by Wengfong Nursery, a renowned chrysanthemum propagator since 1994, this three-day event showcases the latest flower varieties and agricultural innovations, with contributions from leading breeders around the world.
Our mission at the event was to present Mr MoleC, a plant-based insect repellent crafted for eco-conscious flower growers. Designed to manage common pests such as thrips, aphids, and whiteflies, Mr MoleC uses a natural scent mechanism to deter insects while keeping blooms pristine and undamaged. Its versatility allows it to be used in both open-field and high-altitude greenhouse environments, making it suitable for floriculture systems in Cameron Highlands and beyond.
A key advantage highlighted during the event was Mr MoleC’s compatibility with other nutrient solutions, as long as its natural scent remains intact, since that scent is essential to its pest-repelling function. Growers appreciated how easily Mr MoleC integrates into their existing routines without affecting beneficial insect activity or floral quality. Mr MoleC met that need by offering a science-backed, sustainable alternative aligned with modern production and market expectations.
Along this event, we had the opportunity to meet with a wide range of growers, students, floriculture entrepreneurs, and agribusiness professionals. These conversations allowed us to introduce our products in meaningful ways and better understand the real challenges growers face in maintaining clean, productive, and profitable flower systems.
Cameron Highlands continues to lead Malaysia’s floriculture industry, producing high-value flowers such as chrysanthemums, roses, and carnations for both domestic and export markets. However, pest pressures remain a key challenge, particularly as the industry shifts toward cleaner and lower-residue practices.
Mr MoleC is designed to support that shift. It promotes plant resilience and crop quality while respecting ecological balance. This event reaffirmed our confidence in its role within sustainable flower production. Many growers told us they are actively seeking genuine organic inputs, and Mr MoleC aligns perfectly with that growing demand.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited our booth, asked questions, and shared their experiences. Your support helps drive our commitment to innovation in agriculture.
We’re grateful for the many meaningful conversations we had throughout the event. Every interaction reaffirmed that more growers are seeking thoughtful, sustainable ways to protect their crops, without compromising quality. If you’re exploring safer options for managing flower pests while supporting a cleaner growing environment, Mr MoleC may be the natural solution your farm has been waiting for.
